We're creating a new role at Eldorado.gg: AI Architect, reporting directly to the CTO.

This role exists to make our engineering organization measurably more productive with AI. Your primary mandate is driving up engineering output and velocity across our ~100-person engineering organization by getting AI adoption to really stick, day to day, team by team. The focus is squarely on engineering: how our developers build, ship, and review code, and how much faster and better they can do it with AI.

Secondary to that, you'll own (not necessarily build yourself) the centralized standards, security posture, and tooling decisions that keep AI usage safe, consistent, and easy to adopt across engineering.

You'll start solo: this is an individual-contributor role on paper, with outsized influence in practice. No direct reports required from day one, but a mandate that touches the whole organization. If and when the work justifies it, you'll have the case (and our backing) to build out a team.

We're looking for strong leadership and proactivity here: this role has little formal authority over the people it needs to move, so you'll need to drive change through influence, initiative, and visible results, not by waiting to be told what to do.

👉POSITION BREAKDOWN

• Drive real, day-to-day AI adoption across our ~100-person engineering organization, with the explicit goal of increasing engineering output and velocity, however you see fit: tooling, incentives, training, sessions, pairing, whatever moves the needle.

• Own the standards for which AI tools, models, and patterns are used across engineering: good defaults, templates, and guardrails that make the right way the easy way for everyone (owning this doesn't mean building it all yourself; you'll often direct or coordinate the work rather than do it hands-on).

• Own the security posture of AI usage across engineering, in partnership with Technical Architect on infra and security.

• Oversee internal AI tooling relevant to engineering as it becomes relevant, and keep what's already in production running well.

• Work directly with the CTO and other engineering and business leaders to align AI strategy with product and company priorities.

• Stay hands-on where it counts: ship code, prototype tools, and lead by example rather than by mandate alone.

👉 WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• Proven hands-on software engineering background: you need to be credible pairing with senior developers, not just directing them.

• Deep, practical experience with modern AI developer tooling (e.g. AI coding assistants, agentic coding tools, LLM APIs) and a track record of driving adoption of new tools/practices within engineering organizations.

• Experience designing technical standards, guidelines, or governance processes and getting them adopted voluntarily.

• Strong communication and influence skills: this role has no direct authority over most of the people it needs to move.

• Strong leadership and proactivity: we expect you to drive change and initiate work yourself, not wait to be directed.

• Self-directed with a strong ownership mentality.

• Fluency in Lithuanian and English.

Familiarity with our stack (.NET 8/9, Azure SQL, Angular 21, Azure infrastructure) is a plus, but not required.

👉 GROSS SALARY

The salary range for this position is 6000 - 11000 Eur gross per month, depending on your experience.
