We’re growing and looking for a Product Owner (Search & Ranking) to join our Discovery Product team. This role focuses on one of the most impactful areas of our marketplace – deciding which offers and categories users see through search, and ranking. You’ll work at the intersection of product, data science and engineering to improve conversion and revenue while ensuring users discover relevant, high-quality offers from reliable sellers.

👉 POSITION BREAKDOWN

• Own the Discovery roadmap, priorities and conversion rate uplift KPI across search, offer ranking and recommendations;

• Design, run and analyze ranking and search experiments together with Data Scientists and developers;

• Turn complex product and data problems into clear, actionable initiatives and manage the team’s backlog;

• Research user and business pain points across search, ranking and recommendations and identify opportunities for improvement;

• Learn from leading marketplaces, explore new approaches and continuously test new ranking, personalization and search strategies;

• Collaborate closely with category Product teams and the Supply team to balance conversion, relevance, order success and seller health;

• Own communication of Discovery priorities, progress, experiments and results with stakeholders and the wider company;

• Shape the long-term vision for search, ranking and recommendations together with product and technical leadership.

👉 WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• You have a strong understanding of Data Science or a related data discipline and can confidently discuss technical topics with Data Scientists and engineers;

• You bring strong experience in Product Management or Ownership, ideally within data-driven products, platforms or highly technical environments. We’re also open to experienced Data Science professionals looking to transition into a product-focused role;

• You’re comfortable working with data, defining success metrics and making product decisions based on measurable business impact;

• You can translate complex technical and business problems into clear priorities and actionable tasks for the team;

• You have strong stakeholder management skills and can align different teams around priorities, trade-offs and expected outcomes;

• You’re comfortable owning a high-impact product area where decisions directly affect both short-term business performance and long-term marketplace health.

👉 NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with search, ranking, recommendation or personalization systems;

• Hands-on experience designing, running and analyzing experiments and A/B tests;

• Experience working with marketplaces and an understanding of marketplace dynamics, including the balance between buyers, sellers, conversion and supply quality;

• Previous experience working closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Backend Engineers.

👉 GROSS SALARY

The salary range for this position is € 5,000 - € 7,000 gross per month, depending on your experience.
